Hi, I'm Jana — founder of FreshPrep and a firm believer that small changes in the kitchen can lead to big wins in life.

FreshPrep was born out of my own search for balance. Between trying to eat healthier, stretch our grocery budget, and reduce waste, I found myself constantly frustrated with spoilt produce, cluttered shelves, and forgotten leftovers. Sound familiar?

That’s when I discovered the power of a simple mason jar... and a really good seal.

What started as a few jars of overnight oats turned into a full-blown lifestyle. I began prepping meals in advance, buying pantry staples in bulk, and sealing everything from coffee beans to chopped veggies. Not only did it save me time during busy weeks — it helped cut down our grocery bill and drastically reduce food waste.

More importantly, it made healthy, intentional living actually doable.
